SPACE SYNTAX

type: architecture
year: 2014
location: Stuttgart, DE
collaboration: Philipp Günthner

Space Syntax encompasses a set of theories and techniques for the analysis of spatial configurations. It was conceived by Bill Hillier and Julienne Hanson at The Bartlett University College London.

In this case it is used as a tool for the analysis of urban space and human movement in public space. Various maps are created by using the example of the art museum in the center of Stuttgart, which show the integration of the museum into the city's network.
