A fractal city, which is always self-similar but never the same.
Cities and their individual structures are complex networks of space, which allow different interactions and activities by their specific characters. Qualities like fragmentation, mixing, distance and proximity are always dependent on new information, which is produced and changed over time. A city is a slowly but constantly changing organism.
Urban space and time are always coupled in a definite way - the space-time continuum. A city that evolves into a flexible, directly adaptive, living organism by adapting its fragmentation to needs also means a change of what we call »time«.
Because it would be inefficient to constantly design new blueprints, there should be some kind of code, »where« and »when« something changes. The »where« takes the position of the area, while the »when« represents an aperiodic adaptation to the need of space.
