On the one hand the challenge is to make living with children in Constance more pleasant and on the other hand to create a harmonious transition between the very different urban clusters, which border the plot close to the lake of Constance.
The new composition is characterized by a high density while at the same time preserving ideal and attractive, private as well as public spaces. The positive volume generates negative areas as well as free space and an area for interaction. The invisible, flexible free space in form of courtyards and squares becomes the foundation of the community and offers the inhabitants an area for cultural exchange. The meeting zone as a central element extends through the entire design. Beginning from the quarters, the semi-private houses, to the ground plans, the common areas and rooms are in the center.
