The conclusion advocates an adaptation of the static nature of architecture to the constantly changing world. A flexible system is to emerge from a standstill. An architecture that breaks out of its rigid character and turns to terms such as dynamic, morphogenesis, synergetics and coherence, in order not only »to be« but also »will be«.
The definition of time has occupied people for thousands of years. In countless disciplines, the concept of time is discussed and analyzed – ultimately as an attempt to grasp it.
From one of these fields, phrases such as »space-time« or »space-time continuum« came into the world, which are combining two terms that are very important in this work. Not their meaning, but their essence is the central theme of the work: their mutual dependency. A change of time invariably involves a change in space and vice versa. For this reason, the work describes the influence of time on the architectural space. It becomes clear that time is a decisive factor in architectural design - moreover: an idea emerges, in which everything in our environment depends on its temporal component.
The result is a point of view, which aims at a new kind of architectural thinking - to study the space on the basis of time and thus to create it.
